Themes

riida supports four appearance themes. Switch between them from the bottom of the sidebar or from Settings.

Available Themes

Default (Warm Library)

Warm parchment and sepia tones evoking a sunlit afternoon study. This is the theme used on first install.

Snow White

Paper white with soft silver and blue accent colors. Clean and quiet.

Night City

Graphite glass dark theme with electric-blue highlights.

Navy Blue

Deep maritime blue study with luminous blue accents.

Switching Themes

1. Click the theme icon at the bottom of the sidebar, or open Settings
2. Select one of the four themes
3. The theme applies immediately and persists across restarts

Viewer Background Color

Separate from the app theme, you can set the reading surface background color independently for the PDF and EPUB viewer:

• Default / Snow White / Night City / Navy Blue
• Inherit app setting (default): follows the active app theme automatically

Viewer background color is changed from the Viewer Settings panel.
